Pantone Spring 2014 Fashion Color Report

Hear me out! I know that Fall doesn't technically start until next Sunday but when you're in the world of design and fashion, you're always looking ahead and planning for the following season.  Recently the folks at Pantone have released their Spring 2014 Fashion Color Report.

What do we think? Yay? Nay? I love the contrast of the subtle with the bold so there's something everyone. Paloma and Radiant Orchid my be my personal favorites.

Expect to see more of these colors early next year!

Hudson Valley Etsy's Own Fashion Week

Did you know that Fashion Week started in New York in 1943 during World War II?  Since many people who worked in the fashion industry were unable to travel to Paris to cover their designers for the upcoming season, Eleanor Lambert created the press event to draw the attention to American designers and a bi-annual cultural phenomenon was born.

We're in the middle of Fashion Week in New York and we wanted to have our own runway show.
