Four members of the Hudson Valley Etsy Team spent their Saturday at Crazy, Crafty, Cool - the first independent craft fair organized by Teri Bella at the Rockland Country Day School. Proceeds were to benefit the Rockland Parent Child Center. My neighbor at the show who knows of this organization said that even if she didn't sell anything she was glad to be supporting them because they're a great cause - quite an endorsement!
The fair was well organized. There was a nice variety of arts and crafts; most of the vendors seemed to be involved with Etsy. People were friendly, there were delicious foods available throughout the day, and the biggest treat was the music provided by both a DJ and then a terrific Bluegrass band. Traffic was modest, but for a first time show, decent. I didn't have a chance to get the final word from my fellow members, but I know I enjoyed the day. And several of the other vendors who live in the Hudson Valley expressed interest in joining us!

Thanks Becky for posting these photos of the show. This show was fun to do, with enthusiastic and friendly customers. I had a great day. It was well worth the effort that I put into preparing for the show!
