Sugar Loaf Fall Festival - Oct. 10th, 11th, 12th

What do you mean you don't have anything to do during Columbus Day weekend? NOW YOU DO!!

On October 10th, 11th, and 12th, in Sugar Loaf, NY...the 37th Annual Fall Festival will be held. Sugar Loaf is a quaint little arts and crafts village set in a picturesque setting surrounded by apple orchards, mountain views, and wineries. There are dozens of shops, galleries, and boutiques all within walking distance. Plus....during Columbus Day weekend...the Fall Festival will be held featuring a wonderful selection of fine artisans, craftsmen & live entertainment!





Come visit Kim at the LexieJewel booth who will be showcasing her newest handcrafted sterling silver designs as well as some fun, funky beaded jewelry! She might even do a jig for you if the Bud truck is parked nearby. ;-)

Warwick Applefest Sunday October 4th



On Sunday, October 4 from 10 am - 5 pm, the Town of Warwick will welcome an estimated 35,000 visitors to the 21st Annual Applefest.
Holding to its tradition since 1989 of celebrating the local apple harvest, the popular festival has grown into one of the largest and most well attended events in the northeast. Local residents and visitors traveling from neighboring states look forward experiencing Warwick's extraordinary selection of apples, culture, and entertainment

Crafts At Rhinebeck

One of the biggest craft shows in the country will once again take place this weekend (October 3 & 4) at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. The team's own Becky from geminiriverrocks.etsy.com will be present selling her lovely handpainted pins, pendants, and more!

Such a visual and inspiring quote! Thought this might help some of us (ahem me) who might be between seasons and trying to find focus on their craft. The Hudson Valley is such an amazing place to live- throughout the year- but Fall is like our little special treat. The leaves, the colors and the delicious comfort foods. I hope the changing of the seasons brings you great joy & a sense of creativity!

At the Handmade Cavalcade

This year the {NewNew} Etsy team invited members of the Hudson Valley Etsy team to participate in the Fall Handmade Cavalcade held in Beacon, NY. The event was held on Saturday, September 12 right in the center of town.

Four members came out to represent the region: Beyond The Picket Fence, BlondeChick, PetiteAmi, and Pulp Sushi.
